When are the deadlines?
I've posted them on the side navigation right below the ChatterBox. All dates are in GMT+0800.

I have several sites. Can I only submit one of them?
No. Submit as many of your sites as you want as long as each of them are in different categories.

Do you have a banner/button to use for me to link here?
Yes. Just save either one of these in your server:

Could you give me a reason why I didn't make it to the finals?
I just thought there were sites which are more deserving to go through the finals.

There were 4 or more nominees in my chosen category, why didn't you have that category in the finals?
Your site may have made it to the finals, however, there might have been other sites nominated in that category which didn't quite make it based on my standards. Better luck next year.

What specifically are your criterion for judging sites?
They're based on the following...

  1. Content. What are you trying to accomplish with your site and does your content reflect that? Example: If you have a graphics site, naturally, your site should have graphics. Grammar and spelling also fall under here.
  2. Design. I don't go to web sites just to stare at its layout. For me, the purpose of a web site's design is to enhance its content to make it more interesting to go through. So, I'm looking for designs that are tastefully done yet put the content in an appealing light.
  3. Functionality. Is your site viewable in browsers other than [insert browser of your choice]? Do people have to download certain plugins such as Flash before it can be viewed properly? How long is the loading time?
  4. Personal preferences. It all boils down to this, my subjective opinion.

Can I see the voting results?
Yes, after the voting ends and the winners are announced. They're automatically displayed in the Nominees page from the 2nd until the 31st of December.

Where did you get the image for your layout?
It's a screen cap I took from Starcraft, a game by Blizzard Entertainment.

Can I use your layout on my site?
No. Even if you credit me, the answer's still no. Make and code your own.
