Greetings! I am Miko Reznor and welcome to Blinding Light Web Awards! Here, we recognize talent and we don't hesitate to reward those who have it.
This is an annual event so the awards this site gives out can only be won once a year. Before submitting your sites, please read the rules and make sure you nominate them in their appropriate category. Please consult the Important Dates on the side for the deadlines.

A New Category
Best Review Site has been added as one of the categories for the awards. To those with review sites, feel free to nominate them in this category.
I'd also like to inform everyone that if you see question marks enclosed in square brackets [?], they're for you to edit/delete your site or report dead links. Please use them when needed.
And, since this is my awards site after all, I decided I'd give you some hints on what I would like and not like to see on web sites to give you an idea of what kinds of sites would make it through to the finals. First hint. I do not have Flash Player installed and I don't plan on downloading that plugin anytime soon.

Submitting To Directories
I've been submitting Blinding Light Web Awards to several directories. I'm hoping this would give this competition more exposure. Here are the link directories I submitted it to: Glitter Web Directory, FiftySix Listings, Hegemony, Hype, Real Bitch Listings, Soulheart Web Directory and Link-Lounge.com.
I like those web directories because they don't require people to link back. And because they don't make it mandatory for people to have their link up, it makes me want to link to them 
Anyways, please help spread the word about Blinding Light Web Awards. Thanks!
